Gujranwala Business Centre (GBC) is a joint project of Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority, Ministry of Industries and Production (Govt. of Pakistan) and Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI). The Government of Pakistan has provided capital and operation cost for the project i.e. Rs 98.78 million; while the land worth of Rs. 50 Millions has been provided by Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the construction of a multi-storey building fulfilling the requirements of modern and standard business centre in this area. GBC has the capacity of approximately 130 stalls of 10’X10’ size available to the manufacturer of the Gujranwala to present and promote their products both locally and internationally.

SMEDA through Board of Management notified by Government of Pakistan is the executing agency for the project while Board of Management consist of 6 member from private sector and 4 from the public sector will be responsible in making overall policy of the centre, Annual budget approval, hiring/termination of staff and performance evaluation through Project Director hired by the SMEDA with the consultation of BoM.

Gujranwala Chamber of Commerce & Industry (GCCI), Gujranwala has provided 1 kanal and 18 marla of land worth Rs. 50 million in front of GCCI building and Government of Pakistan is providing Capital Cost of the project.
